Although this exhibition is already closed, it was one that brought the term “virtual reality” to life. Artist Casey Reas used projections with computer-screen-looking effects and after standing in front of the projector, a silhouette appeared making it look like you were inside the screen. Titled “There’s No Distance”, this installation also included projections of white lines curving on a black screen (not pictured) that also had a software-based feel.
